SEASON:

When are you in the best mood?  Do you want an outdoor wedding? Do you want most of your formal pictures outside? Road conditions for traveling guest? These are all good questions to ask when picking a wedding date.

SYMBOLISM:

Some people factor in the day their parents or grandparents were married.  You could also pick the day of your first date or the day you first said I love you to each other.

VENUE AVAILABILITY

Is there a certain venue that you've always wanted to get married at? Check their calendar first! One thing I've learned while working in the wedding industry is that TOP* vendors book up fast!

THAT TIME OF THE MONTH

Someone has to mention it!  Not only is bloating, moodiness, and cramps undesirable, but your after wedding fun would be limited too.

SCHEDULES

Want to share a first dance with your dad? Check his schedule and make sure he doesn't have a meeting in Japan on your wedding day.  Of course he'd cancel for his daughters big day, but you'll learn that wedding planning is often about playing nice and trying to get along with everyone involved.
